Make It Summer!

In my excitement for the new school year we took the kids to get new duds.  By the time we got home from the mall I had serious fomo!  Then I thought to myself our resident teacher(that’d be me) deserves a few new pieces for the new year too.  I searched online a bit at my usual places and mom guilt started to kick in.  Then divine intervention kicked in! I got an email from BooHoo.com. They were having a sale. Off to the site I went. Everything was 50% off!  I shopped until my cart was full of goodies and without all of the guilt attached. Quick tip, their size chart is SO off if you’re short and curvy like your girl, it’s perfectly fine to go by your normal sizes. Every time I viewed my measurements the site sized me at an 8, 10 or large. I followed the size chart because I’ve gained a bit of weight and didn’t want to deal with returns, as they also no longer offer exchanges. Luckily, I like oversized shirts, because again, I’ve gained a little weight.

My pieces arrived within a quick 7 days and I was way too hype to wait for school to start to wear my goodies.  Luckily, I opted for pieces that I can easily layer, so making them work with the current LA heat really isn’t difficult. Paired with highwaisted denim, and a pop of color, and BAM! Just like that and this teacher is summer ready and more importantly, chic and trendy.

I can already tell you that this will be a “Go-to” top for me this coming Fall. It’s easy to dress up. Dress down, doesn’t require much ironing( which I live for), and is honestly flattering although it’s two sizes too big. ShouId I do a haul to show you all the other amazing pieces I got?
